John Coakley

John graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in journalism and political science in 2018. He has written previously for Boston area publications, including The Medford Transcript and Cambridge Day. In addition to being an avid fan of indie rock music––as well as blues, R&B, punk, pop, and classic rock––John is a musician, currently performing with bands Volvo Physics and Intra Element in the Greater Boston Area.
